We, Ideal Finance Limited (IFL) is a licensed finance company approved by the Monetary Board of Central Bank of Sri Lanka under Finance Business Act No. 42 of 2011 and Finance Leasing Act No. 56 of 2000. IFL started its operations during 2012 as a limited liability company (PB 4963) registered under Companies Act No. 07 of 2007. Being a member of a well renowned and established conglomerate; Ideal Group, the company has recorded a successful journey over the 9 years of short history. During the financial year 2019/20 company entered in to a strategic partnership with Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services Limited (MMFSL), a leading financial institution in India with over 30 years of expertise in the market. MMFSL became the parent entity with the acquisition of 58.20% stake of IFL which enabled us to bring synergetic benefit to the Sri Lankan market. Ideal Motors (Pvt) Limited is the second largest shareholder of the company having 34.54% stake in the ordinary share capital, which is headed by the co-owners of Ideal Group Mr. Nalin J Welgama a leading Sri Lankan entrepreneur and the legendary Sri Lankan cricketer Mr. Aravinda De Silva. We are AA- (lka); Outlook Stable rated company by Fitch Ratings Lanka Limited. We offer a diversified product portfolio assuring an unmatched service over rivals and secured return to the customers. The current business lines of the company consist Leasing, Vehicle Loans, Property Mortgage Loans, Personal Loans, Business Loans, Gold Loans and Fixed Deposits.
